Fox NFL Sunday host Terry Bradshaw apologises after calling Crazy Rich Asians actor Ken Jeong ‘the little short guy from Japan’
- Former football star was talking about how he was ‘kicked off’ US show Masked Singer by Jeong, who was born in US but is of Korean descent
- Bradshaw said he subsequently spoke to Jeong about his ‘offensive comments’, and apologised to Asian-American community for his insensitivity

Former National Football League quarterback and Fox NFL Sunday host Terry Bradshaw is expressing remorse following an offensive comment he made about Ken Jeong.
When speaking Monday about his time on The Masked Singer, Bradshaw said he was “kicked off by Alan Thicke and the little short guy from Japan”.
Bradshaw was referring to singer Robin Thicke – the son of actor Alan Thicke, who died in 2016 – and Ken Jeong, who was born in Detroit but is of Korean descent. Both were panellists on the singing show.
Bradshaw has since apologised for his comment.
“I made an insensitive remark today about Ken, who I’ve known for some time,” Bradshaw said in a statement. “I’ve spoken to him about the importance of cultural respect and apologised for my offensive comments. I would like to also apologise to the Asian-American community for my insensitivity.”
Representatives for Bradshaw and Jeong have been contacted for comment.
