Letters from readers: Famous architects, Hong Kong’s new pandas and beautiful hiking trails
- This week, readers tell us about an I.M. Pei exhibition at M+ museum, Ocean Park’s coming residents and a beautiful mountain route in Europe

In late July, I went to M+ museum for the I.M. Pei exhibition. Who is I.M. Pei? He is a very famous architect. Some of his most famous buildings include the Bank of China in Hong Kong, the Louvre in France and the Suzhou Museum in China.
I learned a lot about I.M. Pei from this exhibition. In the last section, I even got a chance to build a mini Louvre with tiles. I would recommend that other kids visit, too!

All eyes will be on the cargo plane carrying Hong Kong’s two newest and cutest panda residents when they arrive in late September!
Beijing is gifting a pair of pandas to Hong Kong. Their arrival will surely bring joy and excitement to locals, as these pandas will soon call Ocean Park their new home. Staff at Ocean Park have started preparations to welcome these pandas, making sure to provide the best possible care.
We should learn more about these bears. This will help us respect their space when we visit them and teach us to cherish them.

The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 170km hiking route spanning France, Italy, and Switzerland. This long-distance hike circles Mont Blanc, the tallest mountain in Europe. It is one of the most popular treks in Europe and takes 10 days to complete.
You can experience stunning views of snow-capped mountains and lush landscapes and even walk on glaciers! Just imagine spending 10 full days waking up to the sight of the mountains, sleeping under countless stars scattered across the sky.
There is also a lot of wildlife, from goats on the cliffs to eagles soaring in the sky.
