Saicho has teamed up with Grand Hyatt Hong Kong for an afternoon tea set featuring its alcohol-free sparkling brews, available until June 28. Guests can enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury treats, delivered on a tiered cake stand, and for every two sets ordered, they’ll receive a 200ml bottle of Saicho darjeeling, hojicha, jasmine or osmanthus tea, to be enjoyed with the set or later at home.

The Peel Street upstart’s latest cocktail programme, The Third Culture Sip, reflects Hongkongers’ diverse backgrounds, uniting the variety of flavours familiar to the city’s third-culture kids, from spicy to sweet. The offering that caught our eye is the popcorn-inspired Butter Pop, a sophisticated reimagining of the beloved cinema snack, featuring white rum, butter, popcorn, Earl Grey and chocolate. No buts about it (except the chunk of butter served with it) – it’s the perfect sip to follow one of the many summer blockbusters currently showing.

Yekwon Sunwoo with Quatuor Elmire

As part of the French May Arts Festival, this classical concert brings together the best of East meets West. South Korean pianist Yekwon Sunwoo joins French string quartet Quatuor Elmire for an evening of cross-cultural artistry. Taking place at Hong Kong City Hall on May 12, the performance promises rich sound, bold interpretations and inspiring musical dialogue – an evening of culture and collaboration not to be missed.

Dial-A-Poem

Phone calls may feel like a lost art in today’s instant message-driven world, but M+ is reviving the experience with “Dial-A-Poem Hong Kong”, running until August 30 in the Focus Gallery. This interactive exhibition features 30 local artists voicing works by poets including Xi Xi, Bei Dao, Huang Canran and Olivier Cong. Visitors can simply pick up a receiver in the gallery – or dial a designated local hotline – to hear a randomly selected poem in Cantonese, English or Mandarin, turning a simple call into a moment of unexpected connection.
