Morlife solves the nutrition puzzle to boost wellness

Health-conscious consumers have tried to gain true wellness, but the ways to achieve this have so far been unclear. A massive improvement in wellness and a more energetic lifestyle, however, are possible. The answer lies in moving one's diet to functional foods. This is according to Dr Warren Stewart, owner, founder and director of Australian functional foods manufacturer Morlife.
Morlife has made a leap in providing the answers by developing vastly higher nutritional strength formulations called functional foods.
"Morlife functional foods will be at the forefront of a massive change in consumers gaining wellness," Stewart says. "We call this the wellness revolution."
Morlife functional foods are simple nutritional solutions. Stewart, who is a PhD graduate of the University of Tasmania, says consumers do not need to know all about nutrition, as Morlife has done the work for them.
"Our break came after realising that our knowledge and attitudes from our upbringing made us nutritionally blind," Stewart says. "The Morlife strategy is to look at the research challenge as resolving a nutritional puzzle."
One example is the intake of antioxidants. Antioxidants are vital for protecting the body from damaging particles. People need about 10,000 ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) units of antioxidants daily, but a body may only consume food that provides 3,000 ORAC units.
"You can eat 18 carrots daily to make up the shortfall, but this is not the right answer," Stewart says. "What we did at Morlife was to research and formulate functional foods to ensure that you increase your intake of such key nutrients."
Morlife developed boosting powders that can be added to juices and smoothies. Its dominant product is Alkalising Greens pH7.3, and it is the first step towards wellness. This highly alkalising food supplement helps move body cells into a more alkaline state. "This is the key towards being truly well, as this is where the body enzymes work best," Stewart says. "This is the essence of life itself."
Consuming additional functional foods further enhances the intake of other key nutrients. Morlife's gluten-free Tropical Digest Muesli, for instance, is not just about the avoidance of gluten, but also about the addition of enzymes.
As the first muesli to add prebiotics and probiotics, the product aids consumers in gaining true wellness by providing all the nutrients and having the right bacteria for the gut.
"Consumers see the Morlife approach as sensible because it is based on solid research, proven nutritional strength, and results that show positive gains in wellness," Stewart says.
