Celebrating 40 years of innovation, Europe's leading transport technology expert Fliegl Agrartechnik is looking to build up its presence in China - one of the strongest agricultural economies in the world.
Offering high-quality and practical system solutions in the areas of logistics, transport loading and liquid manure spreading, the German manufacturer sees immense growth opportunities on the mainland.
"We look forward to leveraging the success that we've had in Europe, and play a role in furthering farm mechanisation in China," says Josef Fliegl, general manager.
With the values and strengths of a family-owned business, Fliegl Agrartechnik has grown to become Europe's largest producer of agricultural and industrial trailers.
At its state-of-the-art headquarters in Mühldorf am Inn near Munich, the company also produces platform and bale transport, dumpers, solid manure spreaders, slurry tankers, biogas systems, and various semi-trailer solutions.
Fliegl Agrartechnik is acclaimed for its revolutionary push-off technology that allows the safe and controlled unloading of materials without the need to tip. The patented Fliegl push-off trailers can be used for all transport in the fields and on the roads.
"As our industry rapidly evolves, we constantly harness new ideas and innovate," Fliegl says. "We strive for continuous improvements to produce technologically advanced and best-in-class machinery, complemented by excellent after-sales service and support."
In China, Fliegl Agrartechnik has started selling its push-off trailers and slurry tankers, and plans to soon introduce its dipping trailers and equipment for tractors. The company has opened an assembly facility in Qingdao, with all its products still exclusively made in Germany. To respond more effectively to the distinct requirements of Chinese farmers, Fliegl Agrartechnik seeks to work along with quality-minded distributors and trade partners with local expertise and established networks.
"With trusted partners, we hope to better communicate to the local market how our solutions make agricultural work simpler, more productive and more economical," Fliegl says.
