Global environmental awareness has increasingly pushed government bodies in Asia to seek and develop clean and renewable energy technologies. Among all alternative sources, solar energy remains as the most attractive choice for homes and businesses due to its efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Post-Fukushima disaster, Japan has seen the light in solar energy and has become a significant client to Mounting Systems, a world-renowned designer and producer of fastening systems for solar parks and applicable components for residential and commercial installations for more than 20 years. Equipped with highly automated manufacturing facilities and a quality engineering team in Germany and the United States, the 190-man company is expanding its base in China and Southeast Asia.
"We have a very interesting market in Asia and it is something that is important to us," says Stefan Spork, managing director.
Although solar installations are highly sustainable and provide the most abundant energy form, high-quality raw materials do not come cheap.
Strongly committed to providing flexible, reliable and easy-to-configure photovoltaic solutions, Mounting Systems intelligently designs on-roof, in-roof and ground mount systems that require reduced installation time and minimal onsite field labour.
"We are a trusted engineering partner for our customers in every project and in any region," Spork says.
Combining local expertise in building regulations with lowered overall costs, every product of Mounting Systems promises reliability and energy generation advantages. With large-scale solar installations in more than 50 countries, Mounting Systems has its eyes set on bringing durable and customised solar panel racking systems to Asia. While Mounting Systems will continue to maintain its research and engineering operations in Germany, the company aims to strengthen its relationship with its Asian partners to carry out its projects in the region. "We are looking to build a decent supply chain and build our business in the Asian market," Spork says.
