When most companies were downsizing in 1997 due to the Asian economic downturn, Trussco - initially a specialist contractor in steel and timber doors - was busy expanding its portfolio to include state-of-the-art Taser products, weaponry systems and complementary security, engineering and construction products. This strong motive for intelligent diversification has been key to Trussco's successful business continuity.
