DMG MORI SEIKI leverages the strong alliance of two world-leading machine tool manufacturers - Germany's Deckel Maho Gildemeister (DMG) and Japan's Mori Seiki - as it raises the bar with best-in-class standards.

"We offer global solutions localised for our customers. Having different centres of excellence gives us a distinct advantage in the international markets," says Dr Jens Hardenacke, CEO of DMG Asia.

With proven expertise in manufacturing metal-cutting machines, the company has 154 sales and service locations to reach customers worldwide. It serves illustrious clients from the automotive and the aerospace industry.

DMG MORI operates two global headquarters - in Switzerland, for the European markets, and in Tokyo, which covers the Asian markets including Japan, India and South Korea. It also has a dedicated hub in Singapore for its customer base in Southeast Asia. The company's Southeast Asian markets comprise industries concentrated in geographical hot spots such as automotive in Thailand and Indonesia, die mould in Vietnam and Malaysia, and aerospace and oil and gas in Singapore. It conducts research and development activities in Germany, Switzerland and Japan to adapt its products for local market applications.

Showcased in major trade fairs, the company's LASERTEC 65 3D additive manufacturing machine has captured customers' attention. Components are manufactured in finished parts quality through a combination of generative production and milling.

The first-of-its-kind process integration of laser jobs with powder nozzle and milling in one machine offers innovative possibilities for the production of highly complex and customised products.

Another breakthrough innovation is the CELOS, an application-based control and operating software. CELOS simplifies and accelerates the manufacturing process from the idea to the finished product, and creates the basis for paper-free production. A multitouch display enables CELOS to operate 12 applications for a continuous and digitalised management, documentation, and visualisation of order, process and machine data.

DMG MORI is well-positioned in the global market to explore further business opportunities.
