DNIV's long-term partnership and dynamism fuel growth

A commitment to long-term partnerships with customers, suppliers and employees has been the philosophy guiding Dynamic New Industry Vision International (DNIV) as it enters its 20th year. To mark this milestone, the specialist in surface-mount technology, front-end wafers and back-end integrated circuit packaging is also planning to expand its foothold.

"The main purpose of opening offices in various locations is so that we could serve our customers better," says Desmond Ng, director. "When our customers move, we move along with them."

DNIV stands apart from competitors, developing long-term partnerships to provide the best solution for customers wherever they are. The company demonstrated this by setting up offices in Malaysia, Thailand, China and Vietnam to ensure better client support. This concept extends to employees, some of whom have served the company for 20 years, and suppliers who have introduced further opportunities for the company.

Regarding growth plans, Ng wants to see DNIV diversify through its two divisions, DNIV systems and DNIV test service.

"The 'D' in DNIV stands for 'dynamic', so we have to be dynamic enough to meet the market requirements and changes," Ng says.

Ng is looking at the automotive and medical industries as growth areas for DNIV Systems, pointing out that the shift in income, particularly in China, has paved the way for higher demand for vehicles and better health care.

With a consistent turnover of more than S$20 million (HK$113.5 million) since 1995, DNIV aims to reach an annual turnover of S$50 million in the near term. The company is also pursuing an initial public offering in the coming years.

Amid these plans for expansion, DNIV promises to deliver the same level of reliability that it has become known for - providing solutions for customers and fostering long-term relationships. This, in return, has fuelled growth for DNIV and its partners.
