The debut of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Hanoi at The Grand, the storied hotel brand’s first branded residence project in Vietnam, signals great demand for prestigious homes propelled by the country’s robust economic growth. The number of offerings in the first launch has been fully booked.

Setting the benchmark for ultra-luxury living

The Residences is ideally located in the heart of the vibrant Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi’s main business hub, and a stone’s throw away from Hoan Kiem Lake.

Featuring 104 units, The Residences is a boutique branded apartment complex that is rising up in the heart of the vibrant Hoan Kiem District (the Old Quarter), the city’s main business hub. Situated along the popular Hang Bai Road and near Hoan Kiem Lake, one of the city’s most beloved landmarks, its prominent location is within proximity to the best of everything the city has to offer.

Developed by Masterise Homes, reputed for pioneering world-class luxury real estate products and services in Vietnam and beyond, The Residences is the vision of award-winning architects, designers and project management consultants. Leveraging on the company’s long-term strategic partnership with Marriott International, owner of the legendary Ritz-Carlton brand, the luxury apartments will be Vietnam’s first Ritz-Carlton Residences.

The Grand Entrance of The Residences is reminiscent of The Ritz-Carlton, lauded as the most luxurious hotel brand globally.

Named the most luxurious hotel brand in the world in 2018 by Kadence International, The Ritz-Carlton attracts a large audience of loyalists and trophy collectors who identify with its lifestyle while providing instant global credibility for its branded residence development. This partly explains the success of The Residences first sales launch where the booking for the local quota was full. Gibran Bukhari, Head of Sales, Masterise Homes, said, “We see great demand from both locals and foreigners, who could either be a loyal customer of The Ritz-Carlton or a buyer interested in the Vietnam real estate market. The Ritz-Carlton is one of the best known, most admired brand names in the world, and the association with such a brand instils buyer confidence, no matter where they are. We will balance unit inventories so that Vietnamese buyers have the opportunity to experience true world-class luxuriousness. While foreign buyers could see what Vietnam properties have to offer in terms of both economic and cultural values.”

The only residential development in the Old Quarter – an enchanting area with captivating architecture, ambience and history, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Hanoi is a landmark that marries the best modern levels of amenity with historic workmanship and design. It sold well in Vietnam, and we hope to see the same positive response in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, even Europe and the Middle-East,” Bukhari added.

A trophy asset with generational value

The Residences are the crème-de-la-crème of branded residences and the first Ritz-Carlton Residences in Vietnam.

Savvy buyers and luxury lifestyle connoisseurs have more than enough reasons to acquire a jewel of an asset in the form of one of these residences in Hanoi. First up is the undeniable prestige of owning and living in the crème-de-la-crème of branded residences, and not to mention the first Ritz-Carlton Residences in Vietnam.  It is a statement of your discerning taste and an exceptional eye for choosing only the best.

Then there’s Vietnam robust economic performance. Despite the impacts of COVID-19, the country’s GDP rose by 2.9 per cent in 2020, even as most countries recorded deep recessions. On August 24, the World Bank forecast that Vietnam’s 2021 GDP will expand by 4.9 per cent. Furthermore, the country’s economic fundamentals remain solid, and the economy could converge toward the pre-pandemic GDP growth rate of 6.5 to 7 per cent from 2022 onward.

These encouraging figures point to Vietnam’s positive economic prospects, exemplified by Marriott International’s decision to introduce its fifth Asia Pacific Ritz-Carlton Residences in Vietnam, following those in Singapore, Bangkok, Colombo and Kuala Lumpur.

Explaining the global hotel management company’s strategic move, Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding China), Marriott International, said, “We are thrilled to be working with Masterise Homes to amplify our luxury presence in Vietnam with the addition of The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Hanoi. We continue to embrace the growing demands for branded living in this economic growth hotspot with this project. Vietnam is a dynamic market with a lot of potential, and we look forward to bringing the brand’s refined style and legendary services to residents in Vietnam.”

The Residences at The Grand, Hanoi is the second Marriott branded Residences in Vietnam. The first is the large-scale Grand Marina, Saigon under JW Marriott and Marriott Hotels brands announced earlier this year. Revealed in quick succession, these two projects in Saigon and Hanoi is the group’s vote of confidence in both Vietnam’s positive economic development and the branded residence sector. Buyers can certainly take heart from this.
