GO PARK Aqua in Sai Sha has undergone a major transformation this summer by turning the waterfront spot into a complete land-and-sea destination packed with fresh activities for families, couples and adventure seekers alike.

From beginner-friendly sailing and cultural workshops to luxury glamping and bespoke seaside celebrations, the 130,000-square-foot centre – part of Sun Hung Kai Properties’ wider Sai Sha development – now offers far more than a simple day by the water.

A short six-minute walk from GO PARK Sai Sha and blessed with panoramic views over Kei Ling Ha Hoi, the venue has become one of Hong Kong’s most desirable leisure spots.

The upgrade brings new partnerships that have broadened the venue’s appeal.

One of the most eye-catching additions is Hong Kong’s first Fiat 500 Carboat Tour by Goofy Waves Watersports Club. Visitors can take the wheel of the Italian classic reimagined for the sea and glide across the waves towards a secluded sandbar for a luxury picnic with live music and champagne.

When it comes to celebrations, GO PARK Aqua is now a versatile platform for premium events. Ocean-front weddings with cold pyrotechnics, bubble-themed birthday parties, seaside glamping, weekend brunches on wooden decks and social gatherings with live bands and an inflatable pool bar are all available.

In partnership with Elite Sailing Academy Hong Kong, GO PARK Aqua now offers beginner-friendly sessions in dinghy sailing, catamaran sailing and rowing, alongside existing activities such as windfoiling, wakeboarding and dragon boating by Blue Sky Sports Association.

All sessions are guided by certified coaches, who start with clear briefings before participants head out along the scenic coastline. These options are considered particularly approachable by families and newcomers.

Those who prefer a gentler pace can join mangrove kayak tours past historic breakwaters, parent-child beach-cleanup paddles or sunset mindfulness sessions.

The centre also functions as the Sai Sha Exploration Base, from which visitors set out on immersive explorations along the coastline. A short distance away, the new Sham Chung Excursion brings even more enjoyment to the visit with luxury glamping set-ups, field barbecue spots, and immersive workshops such as stargazing, Hakka cha kwo making, handmade tofu pudding and indigo dyeing.

Further afield, upgraded coastal eco-tours launch from GO PARK Aqua. The Yung Shue O Lobster Eco-Raft Tour takes guests to Aqua Millenium, Hong Kong’s only sustainable green lobster cultivation site.

Visitors can feed marine life, learn about responsible aquaculture and enjoy premium seafood dishes, including soft-shell lobster soup, steamed green lobster and the unique soft-shell lobster gelato – all prepared with produce certified by the World Wide Fund for Nature and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.

The Tai Po Fishery Eco-Discovery Tour offers another rewarding option, with a masterclass in traditional hand-line fishing, demonstrations of intangible cultural heritage rabbitfish cage-making and a catered seafood lunch.
