With a backdrop set against the city’s vibrant skyline, Taste of Hong Kong presented by Standard Chartered will welcome a total of 20 restaurants to the shores of Victoria Harbour. From the high-end sophistication of Bo Innovation, Caprice and Duddell’s to the contemporary trendsetters of Little Bao, Yardbird and Poem Patisserie, Taste of Hong Kong caters to all.
There are a whole host of names making their debut on the Taste stage for 2018 including BlackSalt, Chachawan, Frantzen’s Kitchen, Haku, One Harbour Road, Pici and New Punjab Club. Taste Fan favourites, back due to popular demand are OKRA and Zuma.
Rounding up a mouth-watering line-up are Bubbledogs all the way from the UK to HK. Never heard of them? Forget the humble hot dog and experience your first “Posh-Dog”. A high-end take on the fast food classic, Bubbledogs’ craft their franks using only the finest ingredients, all washed down by an accompanying glass of champagne.
Be sure to sample delights from the ten different cuisines on offer. The hardest decision will be choosing which of the 60+ dishes to try first. Fancy something new? You’re in luck. Each restaurant has specifically designed one Taste Festival exclusive dish that you will only find at Taste of Hong Kong, so be sure not to miss out!

The restaurant experience and food on offer is only the tip of the gastronomic iceberg in this culinary playground. Featuring live cooking demonstrations at the SHARP Taste Theatre, whisky tastings courtesy of Johnnie Walker and Singleton or wine education from Treasury Wine Estates and La Cabane plus live music from the Sound Stage, there is plenty to see and do in each one of the four-five hour event sessions, across the four event days.
Even if you have managed to fill your stomach with the food on offer, you can then focus your attention on filling your pantry, courtesy of The Gourmet Market, which sees 60 exhibitors showcasing the finest artisan produce and gastronomic gear. From fine wine to cured meats, craft beet to Foie Gras, you’ll be sampling the delights long after the event is over.

This year’s entry price is lower and 70% of the menu is under $100 so Taste is better value than ever. There are also new Ticket Packages available that include dishes and drinks- meaning you can arrive ready to Taste your way around the festival. Looking for that VIP experience? Look no further. Taste of Hong Kong’s exclusive VIP lounge provides a high-class haven for visitors where you can avoid the crowds, sip champagne and recharge before heading out for another course.
