The magnificent seven

The magnificent seven hail from diverse backgrounds and countries, but are bound together by a common attitude. These arbiters of cool champion the contemporary, be it in fashion or way of life.

The world is their stage, and they hog the limelight. Whether it’s in dance, music, film or fashion, their strong personalities shine through. Dancer Eric Underwood is changing the face of modern ballet in London, while Gabriel Kane Day-Lewis, son of Daniel Day-Lewis and Isabelle Adjani, is forging his path as a singer and songwriter in New York.

Italian actor Lorenzo Richelmy found international stardom after he was cast as the titular explorer in the acclaimed Netflix original series Marco Polo. Also making his mark is actor Louis Hofmann who plays a lead role in the new Netflix supernatural series Dark filmed in German. Meanwhile, American actor Will Peltz’s route to Hollywood follows that age-old trajectory of hockey to acting.

Staking their claim on the runways of the fashion capitals in the world are Chinese supermodel Jin Dachuan who walks for some of the top luxury brands and Andres Velencosco, the top Spanish model whose face has graced many high profile advertising campaigns and fashion magazine covers.

Brought together by Tod’s, the eclectic group reveal their personal point of view on Italian lifestyle in a series of videos, interviews and portraits. Each member’s unique style travels beyond places and meets in a specific way of being: to choose, to dress and to think.

The Double T connection

Despite their diverse background, a common thread that runs through the band of brothers is their appreciation of Tod’s timeless aesthetics, especially seen in the Double T moccasins that each one is spotted wearing. Executed in rich suede or elegantly textured leather, they feature the signature Tod's Double T accessory, one of the brand’s iconic symbols. Each pair, whether they come with the iconic rubber pebble outsole with rubber pebbles or a leather outsole, are made 100 per cent in Italy using superb craftsmanship. Like the Band of brothers, the Double T moccasins are the epitome of cool.
