This is the only Chinese restaurant in Macau with three Michelin stars, which it has retained for six consecutive years. Expect the finest in Cantonese and Huiyang cuisine, using fresh ingredients and artistic presentation.

The 8 is known for dim sum specialities such as char sui bau shaped like porcupines with a crunchy base, and crystal blue shrimp, shaped like goldfish. Chef’s recommendations include double-boiled bird’s nest with Matsutake mushroom and braised whole Yoshihama abalone. The restaurant boasts a selection of connoisseur Chinese teas and a staggering 16,800 wine labels from major regions, with a wide price range and ratings from Robert Parker.
