Supporting Students to Thrive at Every Point of Entry
This year's top-performing graduates reflect the diverse pathways through which students join and thrive at YCIS. From those who began their journey with the School as early as six months old, to students who joined through the Principal Recommendation Scheme (PRS) for local Primary 6 students or transitioned from local schools via the IB Pathway Programme (IBP) for local Secondary 3 students, their achievements demonstrate how learners from different backgrounds can flourish with the right opportunities, support and encouragement. Through its bilingual education, nurturing environment and strong academic pathways, YCIS equips students with the confidence, critical thinking and communication skills needed to succeed in the IB and beyond.
Scholarships and Broad Curriculum Foster Diverse Passions
YCIS offers a comprehensive scholarship programme and a broad curriculum to both internal and external students that encourages students to explore their interests and discover their strengths. Graduates have received offers for a wide range of disciplines, including Architecture, Biomedical Science, Environmental Science, Veterinary Medicine, Finance, Economics, Business, Law, Psychology, Creative Arts and Music.
Through diverse learning opportunities and exposure to different subjects, students are empowered to make informed choices about their future studies and careers.
Complementing this, the Seeds for Tomorrow Programme of the YCYW Network plays a vital role by forging exclusive partnerships with leading universities and Fortune 500 companies both locally and internationally. These collaborations inspire students’ interest in different disciplines and foster a passion for exploration, enabling them to engage in meaningful and innovative learning experiences with university faculty and industry experts.
