Whether you're an industry veteran with an innovative business idea or a team of fresh graduates with entrepreneurial dreams, the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) and Cyberport Incubation Programme (CIP) offer transformative opportunities to turn your vision into a reality.
With a vibrant ecosystem designed to support start-ups at every stage, these programmes provide not only funding but also essential resources, mentorship, and networking to drive Hong Kong’s ambition to become a leading global innovation hub.
Cyberport’s flagship programmes, CCMF and CIP, are designed to nurture start-ups across different development phases.
While CCMF provides an initial HK$100,000 grant to help innovators develop proof-of-concept prototypes over six months, CIP offers more comprehensive support.

This initiative aims to nurture an average of 90 or more Smart Living start-ups annually in five years, driving Hong Kong’s smart city development.
Like other participants in the CIP programme, each Smart Living start-up involved will be eligible for grants, office space and strategic support, provided that their solutions are aimed at developing technology that improves people's livelihoods.
Contributing to Hong Kong's smart city ambitions
Cyberport’s Smart Living cluster now comprises over 800 companies, specialising in an ever-expanding range of solutions, from EdTech, HealthTech, and GeronTech to PropTech, social technology (SocTech), and more.
CIP and CIP-SLS programmes offer participants valuable opportunities for co-operation and collaboration to develop innovative solutions aimed at improving urban life in Hong Kong.
These programmes benefit from an extensive network in Cyberport’s Smart Living cluster, which has formed strong partnerships with key industry players such as China Resources Enterprise, DMALL, MTRC, the Hong Kong Housing Society, the Construction Industry Council and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Cyberport is nurturing not only traditional tech start-ups but also leading the way in cutting-edge sectors such as Web 3.0 and GreenTech.
As the leading Web 3.0 community in Hong Kong, Cyberport is committed to strengthening the local Web 3.0 ecosystem, increasing public awareness and promoting industry interactions.
Following the Government's allocation of HK$50 million for Web 3.0 development in the 2023-24 Budget, Cyberport has successfully brought together over 270 Web 3.0 companies from Hong Kong, Mainland China and 19 other countries worldwide.
This endeavour has resulted in the formation of Hong Kong's largest Web 3.0 community, which includes notable entities such as Animoca Brands, CertiK, HashKey Group and beyond.
Cyberport remains steadfast in supporting the Government’s Innovation and Technology (I&T) strategies. From boosting Hong Kong’s competitiveness with thriving AI and Web3.0 ecosystems to unleashing the potential of emergent technologies and new industries, Cyberport has been at the forefront of driving advancements.
The digital tech hub has actively catalysed financial innovation with FinTech and Green Finance, promoting sustainable growth through Smart Living and GreenTech. It also enables innovators and entrepreneurs to create a better future through I&T in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area (GBA), Mainland China, and beyond.
Shaping the future of innovation
Apart from Smart Living cluster, Cyberport also focuses on FinTech and Digital Entertainment. The FinTech cluster is the largest in Hong Kong, with over 430 start-ups and technology companies working in areas such as wealth management, digital assets, compliance, virtual insurers, virtual banks and blockchain.
Meanwhile, the Digital Entertainment cluster has built a thriving community in Hong Kong, comprising around 170 start-ups and technology companies. These businesses are driving innovation across various sectors, using digital entertainment to transform everyday life.
As industries evolve, businesses face growing pressure to adopt emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) to stay competitive. To support Hong Kong’s AI ecosystem, Cyberport is fast-tracking the establishment of the city's largest Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Centre (AISC). The first-phase facility is expected to become operational within this year.
Moreover, Cyberport has been allocated HK$3 billion for a three-year AI Subsidy Scheme (AISS). This programme will subsidise industry practitioners in utilising the AISC’s computing power, ensuring continued momentum in local AI development.
