In a showcase of innovation, creativity, and business opportunities, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) hosts three major international trade fairs in early 2025, offering a platform for global suppliers to present cutting-edge products and forge business connections. 

The HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Baby Products Fair and International Stationery & School Supplies Fair run concurrently at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 6-9, 2025.

Themed “New Play for All”, the fairs feature over 2,500 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions, presenting a wide array of innovative toys, baby products and stationery solutions.

The HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair focuses on introducing innovative and sustainable toys, with a spotlight on green elements. Featuring Smart-Tech Toys & Games, the fair showcases the latest toys incorporating artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and other interactive technologies.

These products capture the imaginations of both children and adults, offering immersive experiences that blend entertainment with educational value. Moreover, the Kidult World draws attention, with collectible toys, hobby goods and models appealing to adult collectors. 

As well as the tech-driven toys, the fair highlights eco-friendly toys, celebrating sustainable materials and designs. Hape International (Hong Kong) Limited (Booth: 1E-C02) is among the exhibitors, excited to showcase its eco-friendly educational toys for children aged 0-6, including STEAM, music and artistic creativity. 

According to Andrew Ng of Hape International, the company’s toys are made from sustainably sourced materials, such as bamboo. They use non-toxic, water-based paints and finishes, and their toys undergo rigorous safety testing to meet or exceed international standards.

"Sustainability is actually part of our mission, and we take pride in reducing our environmental impact. Our factory design includes energy-saving features such as solar panels on the roof to generate electricity, and we use natural drying methods in some production processes to minimise energy consumption,” he added.

In addition to the impressive line-up of exhibitors and products, a key event is the Asian Toys & Games Forum, which hosts experts to discuss the industry's evolving role in healthcare and wellness, its positive social impact and active ageing. Other seminars will also address topics such as toy safety and regulations, sustainability and gender perspectives alongside inclusivity in toys.

Hong Kong Baby Products Fair 

The HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair showcases organic and green products for the well-being of infants and toddlers. Exhibitors present a wide selection of organic baby products, from feeding and nursery products to eco-friendly toys and maternity essentials.

One key feature is the Brand Name Gallery, showcasing internationally renowned brands known for their functionality, safety, and user-friendly designs.  

Among the exhibitors is Fabio Hygienic Products Company Limited (Booth: 3F-D02), which will showcase its line of biodegradable baby products, including the Biodegradable Baby Bibs.  

"Our baby bibs are not only eco-friendly but also designed for quality, durability and convenience," said Edward Ho of Fabio Hygienic Products. "We’re proud to deliver products that are both economical and environmentally responsible," he added, noting that the company also offers OEM private label services to buyers.

 This year, the Baby Products Fair brings together diverse baby and infant products for international buyers. The fair welcomes multiple returning pavilions, such as the well-received Korea  Pavilion and the Hong Kong Children, Babies, Maternity Industries Association pavilion.

A new addition, the Zhejiang Zhili Pavilion, features high-quality infant and children’s clothing, expanding the range of eco-friendly and organic offerings. 

The fair also includes seminars on trending topics, such as "Trends in Baby Products for Modern Parenting", providing industry insights and highlighting sustainable practices in baby product development.

Running concurrently with the Baby Products and Toys & Games fairs, the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair brings together global suppliers of eco-friendly stationery and school essentials. 

The fair features green stationery products, including recycled notebooks, biodegradable pens and sustainable office supplies.
