Continuing the fine tradition of Lingnan University in Canton from 1888, the Lingnan University was re-established by a group of Lingnan alumni in Hong Kong in 1967.

In the last fifty years, the Lingnan University with its motto "Education for Services" has committed to the provision of quality education to nurture professionals and leaders with virtues which contributed to the development of Hong Kong.  In future, Lingnan University will continue the above fine tradition to achieve greater success.

On behalf of the Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong), I would like to congratulate the Lingnan University on its 50th anniversary of its re-establishment in Hong Kong and wish the University every success in its efforts to scale new heights.
