2015 AJS Finalist’s Spotlight : Eventure

There are so many exciting activities in the world, but people need a place to record them down. In particular, this team has many places that they wish to go but it is not easy to remember them for long. Thus, this team created an app, Eventure, to help users track their events.

Information about the team

The team comprises Matthew Cormie, Will Harris, and Roark Payne. There are so many exciting activities in the world, but people need a place to record them down. In particular, this team has many places that they wish to go but it is not easy to remember them for long. Thus, this team created an app, Eventure, to help users track their events.

What is the app about

Eventure is an app that lets users keep track of their events. These events can be categorized into either "I wish" or "I will". Events under "I wish" are things that the users wish to do. Whereas, events under "I will" are things that the user will do it soon. After the user has input their event, they can either save it into their app or to share it in the social media. The list of events that the user keyed in will be shown in the home screen. In the future, users can share their Eventure events to wider variety of social media. Also, they can specify which event, that they have stated in Eventure list, to delete.

Design Principles

Eventure's design concept is based on colors. Each button has different use, and they are represented by different colors. For instance, Save button is in green while Share button is in yellow. Eventure uses colors to prevent users from clicking the wrong button, like the Clear button.
