As of 2024, ASTRI has transferred over 1,500 technologies to industry partners and secured more than 1,100 patents worldwide, including in China and the United States.
ASTRI has demonstrated a strong commitment to applied research, achieving significant milestones in both local and international I&T ecosystems. These achievements include establishing the Hong Kong Branch of the National Engineering Research Centre for ASIC Systems (CNERC) in partnership with Southeast University; contributing to Mainland China's first Third-Generation Semiconductor Power Electronics Technology Roadmap; and launching a cross-border smart connected autonomous vehicle driving test in Hetao, Shenzhen.

ASTRI has played a strategic role in bolstering the research landscape through collaboration with the government, academia, industry, and research institutions. This effort has been pivotal in positioning Hong Kong as an international I&T hub.

As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, ASTRI will host two major events in February 2025.
The "Tech Applied Summit," themed "Leading Tech Forward," will take place on February 10 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Featuring around 40 distinguished I&T leaders from across the globe, the summit will explore transformative technologies shaping the future.
