When it comes to solutions for the oil and gas industry, Alderley FZE knows that one size does not fit all. Alderley customises gas and liquid metering and produces water-treatment systems specifically for the Middle East environment. It draws on its 12 years of experience in the Middle East and its parent company in Britain, which has operated in numerous extreme conditions for more than 50 years.
"Clients often have very specialised requirements and it is most important that we meet them in a continual and reliable manner," says general manager Mike Shepherd. "It is not only delivering on these requirements; it's also supporting the clients once the equipment is delivered. This is key to establishing a long-term relationship in the oil and gas industry."
Major industry players such as Saudi Aramco, the Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Qatar Gas look to Alderley for its bespoke systems, which help optimise clients' projects prior to tender stage. Showcasing engineering expertise from design and assembly to testing and logistics, Alderley's metering systems, hydrocyclone, desanding, filtration and compact flotation units are tailor-made for Middle East conditions.
Alderley has invested substantially in expanding and streamlining its production and training facilities, which it expects to be completed early next year. Committed to making more intelligent user-friendly operating systems, the company also continues to innovate with its clients to meet safety and environmental standards, which have become increasingly strict, especially for produced water treatment.
Alderley established new offices in Singapore and expects this facility to grow quickly to meet regional market expectations.
"Our strategy is to replicate our success in the Middle East and I'm sure the Far East market is right for that," Shepherd says. "We look forward to supporting more customers and doing more business in this region."
