Hyundai plans Tacoma move

Hyundai Merchant Marine plans to move to Tacoma under a US$65 million plan to develop a new terminal.

According to a port spokesman, Hyundai notified the port it planned to occupy the West Blair Terminal, a new 20 to 40 hectare container terminal being developed on the Upper Blair waterway. Construction of the new terminal will take 18 months and will be ready for Hyundai in January 1998.
