Drive-off case warrant issued

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who allegedly drove away a $3.68 million Lamborghini in June, after he failed to turn up in Eastern Court to face four charges.

Lee Shing-on is charged with taking conveyance without authority, driving while disqualified and without insurance, and using a false instrument.

Another defendant in the case, Wong Wai-hing, was told the hearing would not proceed due to Lee's absence.

Wong is charged with aiding and abetting Lee in taking the Lamborghini Diablo VT from a Harbour Road car park, and using a false instrument.

The case was put back to December 6.
