Royal view on way

A watercolour by Prince Charles entitled Double Haven Bay, Hong Kong from HMY Britannia (left) is being issued in a print of 100 to coincide with the handover.

The lithographs, with the white ensign flying in the foreground against a scene of the coast and mountains behind, are being sold at just over GBP3,000 (HK$37,770) each through CCA Galleries in Britain and any profits will go to the prince's chosen charities.

The prince painted the picture during his visit to the territory in November 1989.

Each one comes with a book of the prince's watercolours introduced by the Queen Mother.

If previous works by the prince are anything to go by the prints can be expected to triple in value within the next three to four years.
