Legislator Eric Li Ka-cheung should consult the accountants who elected him before voting on the no-confidence motion on Elsie Leung, an accountant said.

In an open letter, Edward Chow Kwong-fai, defeated by Mr Li in the Legco election last year, said: 'A no-confidence motion in the legislature on this matter . . . is in my opinion, not a facile matter over which you could apply your conscience or professional judgment to vote.' Press reports have said Mr Li will not support the motion.
