Singapore office open

RIDING high on the success of its regional expansion programme, British-based Systems Union Ltd (SUL), developer and supplier of SunSystems range of business and accounting software, last week opened an office in Singapore.

This latest move followed hard on the heels of the recent establishment of SUL's Asian regional headquarters in Hongkong and signals a strategic step in further penetrating the ASEAN markets.

SUL first entered the Singapore market in 1988 with the appointment of Australasia Computing Services (ACS) as its authorised agent.

Its products were also marketed through Price Waterhouse, Ernst and Young, Coopers and Lybrand and Arthur Anderson.

According to Mr Grant Boydell, managing director of SUL's Hongkong-based regional office, SUL has experienced dramatic growth in the region and anticipates great business potential in ASEAN countries.
