Man-hon case sparks sensitivity training

An introductory training course will soon be given to key immigration officers on how to deal with disabled people, following the Yu Man-hon controversy, the Equal Opportunities Commission said.

The watchdog said it hoped the course would help officers become more sensitive. It could also be extended to other security forces and government departments.

Autistic Man-hon, 15, has been missing since SAR immigration officers sent him across the border to Shenzhen on August 24.
