Circle K profit improves

Net profit jumped 33 per cent at Growth Enterprise Market-listed Convenience Retail Asia in the three months to June 30. The operator of Circle K convenience stores in Hong Kong and on the mainland had a second-quarter profit of HK$18.1 million, from a HK$326.5 million turnover. The quarterly result brought its interim profit to HK$29.3 million, in the six months to June 30, up 60 per cent year on year.
