Beckham is HK teens' favourite

If football star David Beckham ever finds himself out of a job, he can always take heart that there is another career beckoning in Hong Kong . . . school teacher.

Beckham is your man, according to the latest Young Post Web site poll, which asked who you would most like to have as school teacher for a day.

He scored with a strong finish on 186 votes (56 per cent), way ahead of his nearest challenger, the local kung fu champ and movie icon Jackie Chan, who finished with 84 votes (25 per cent).

Rock legend Madonna finished with 42 votes (12 per cent).

And it also appears that local teens have heard enough of the Texas twang of the world's most powerful man, United States President George W. Bush, who finished with just 19 votes (five per cent).
