Local wine expert Simon Tam, director of the International Wine Centre, will be joining forces with food writer Annabel Jackson for a gourmet event at the Fringe Club. Tam will be exploring the pure flavours of riesling and why it is a perfect match for Asian cuisine in a pre-lunch tasting of eight wines. Jackson then takes over with a cooking demonstration that explains the different cuisines of Indo-China.

He says many of his mixes are new to Hong Kong but also include classics such as batidas (a Brazilian carnival drink), the Papa Hemingway daiquiri and authentic mai tais.
