Particles of fashion They may look like strings of edible gumballs, but these fun necklaces from new accessories label Une Petite Chose were inspired not by sweets but by DNA. They are called Happy Molecules, says Hong Kong-based designer Jacqueline Chan, 'because I think being happy is a must for everyone and I hope these little things can bring people happiness'. Silicone valley Now you can have silicone-enhanced breasts without surgery courtesy of the Nu Bra, a pair of self-adhesive silicone cups that mould to the body. The backless, strapless bra is the natural successor to a line of 'tech-forward' lingerie, including oil- and water-filled bras, and inflatable and frontless versions. The Nu Bra cups stick to the skin and are connected by a hook that ensures a natural-looking cleavage. Its makers say it can be worn up to 1,000 times if used on clean, dry skin. Prada quakes Tokyo Prada's flirtation with avant-garde architecture continued with the opening last month of its Tokyo Epicenter, a six-storey shop every bit as hi-tech and hip as the New York flagship by Rem Koolhaas that opened on Broadway in 2001. The Tokyo building was designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the Swiss firm that designed London's Tate Modern museum. It features rubbery, silicone fixtures, moulded fibreglass and fibre-optic displays and transparent fitting-room doors that become opaque at the flick of a switch. It seems to come to life at sunset, when a sequence of special-effects animations pulses through the building to create a 'heartbeat' that intensifies towards midnight. Drop in next time you're in Tokyo - it's at 5-2-6 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-0062 - and pray that the power doesn't fail.

Cases in point Luggage giant Samsonite has opened its eighth boutique in Hong Kong. The new shop is on the second floor of the Prince's Building and carries a range by celebrated minimalist Philippe Starck, and the Black Label line - once headed by fashion designer Neil Barrett - as well as its traditional sacks, suitcases and lightweight travel accessories.
