Gameplay: This is quite a good and fairly easy game. The gameplay is very similar to Dynasty Warrior, in which you fight many enemies by yourself. In Drag-On Dragoon, you have to conquer different castles to save the country. Compared with Dynasty Warrior, however, Drag-On Dragoon is not as good. In Dynasty Warrior you are allowed to choose different characters to play with, while in this game you can only use one character.

Graphics: By PS-2 standards, the graphics are only average. The  details of the graphics and the movements are not smooth enough.

Overall: This is not a particularly outstanding game. I tried it only because it's similar to Dynasty Warrior. It's too straightforward. All you have to do is to follow the story. There are some hidden levels, but they are almost impossible to find. Although Hong Kong gamers are used to Japanese titles, the lengthy Japanese instructions in this game are quite off-putting.

Gameplay: Slaughter is the word to describe the theme of this game. Once you begin, you become the warrior and your first mission is save the princess locked up in the tower. Then you become a killing machine, and the storyline somehow does not matter any more.

Graphics: Just average. They are not colourful and smooth enough. The angles from which the action is viewed are sometimes out of control.

Overall: Non-stop killing makes this an addictive game, and playing this action RPG game can exhaust you. It also took me a long time to work out the over-complicated Japanese instructions.

In the world of Drag-On Dragoon, people  sacrifice an organ or a part of themselves in exchange for power. The game tells the story of chief character Prince Caim's revenge. You play Caim, whose parents were killed by a back dragoon in the pay of an evil empire. Seeking vengeance, Caim sets out to destroy the empire that ruined his life.



Drag-On Dragoon
