MAGIC, MUSIC AND PUPPETS

Celebrated Hong Kong magician and musician Harry Wong will present Made in Hong Kong with Harry Wong, a family entertainment combining music, puppetry and magic.

The solo show centres on misunderstandings between a father and his daughter, who has recently left home to study abroad.

It will be performed in Cantonese from Friday to Sunday at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, before moving to North District Town Hall from August 6-7 and Tuen Mun Town Hall Cultural Activities Hall on August 13-14.

Performances start at 7.30pm, with weekend matinees at 3pm. Tickets ranging from $100-$160, with half-price concessions for students, are available from Urbtix on 2734 9009.

FREE DRUM THERAPY

Tom Lee Music will present Remo Community Drum Circle featuring professional music therapist Christine Stevens.

Ms Stevens holds a master's degree in social work and music therapy.

She offers community drum circles for corporate team building, diversity training, personal growth, and health and wellness seminars.

The drum circle, which is open to the public, will take place on Sunday at the Piazza of Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui. Admission is free from 3pm to 5pm. For more information, call 2737 7638.
