Trunk call for jewellery show

MCL Design will host a two-day trunk show of its ornate and colourful jewellery. Bye bye at Biba

Bella Freud is stepping down as head creative consultant of cult label Biba. She plans to relaunch her own line, which she'll show at London Fashion Week in September.

Cavalli's fast fashions

H&M has announced that Italian designer Roberto Cavalli (below left) will create collection for the Swedish retailer. The line of clothing and accessories for men and women is set to launch in November.

Anniversary designs

To celebrate the SAR's 10th anniversary, the Hong Kong Design Centre has launched the Creation 9707 Project, a collaboration between 10 international brands and 10 Hong Kong designers to create 10 products, including homeware and accessories. Limited numbers of each will be available for one year, from late 2007, and all proceeds will go towards the development of design education in Hong Kong.
