Logistics firm seeks professional

Are you ready to join a dynamic team at a leading provider of moving and relocation, records management and freight forwarding services in the Asia-Pacific?

Santa Fe Transport International, which offers its individual and corporate clients a comprehensive range of high quality services, would like to recruit an experienced sales professional to join its records management sales team in Hong Kong as a business development manager.

Established in Hong Kong in 1980 and acquired by EAC in 1988, Santa Fe has continuously expanded operations throughout the region and operates through offices in 13 countries and 36 cities and territories across Asia.

In addition to Hong Kong, Macau and the mainland, these include India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The company's range of services includes immigration and visa, home and school search, language and cultural training, tenancy management, financial management and moving,

'Santa Fe provides clients with a one-source global solution to all relocation and moving needs,' said Lesley Li, sales and marketing manager, records management division.

'We offer the finest worldwide network supported through our active partnership in the industry's leading organisations, including the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council, Overseas Moving Network International and International Federation of Furniture Removers.'

The company's records-management division is a dynamic and growing business unit that offers solutions for vital, active and inactive records through state-of-the-art technology.

'We specialise in business records retention and management, document storage, file folder retrieval, magnetic tape management and document imaging,' Ms Li said.

Thanks to the organisation's expansion into Macau in 2006, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and cultivating the records management business there.

Applicants should possess a range of key qualities, Ms Li said. 'You should be pleasant, outgoing and creative.'

A good command of spoken and written English, and Cantonese is highly desirable. Applicants should not think of setting pen to paper unless they can offer a minimum of five years of working experience, preferably in the service industry.

Hands-on knowledge of the use of personal computers was essential, Ms Li said. However, experience of records management was a plus, rather than a must.

Santa Fe will offer an attractive remuneration package to the right candidate.

This includes in addition to a basic salary, various incentive schemes, a free medical insurance scheme, study sponsorship and an annual gratuity and bonus.
