Where? In an upmarket area of Zurich, close to the stores of big labels such as Louis Vuitton and Herm?s.

Who? Fashion designer Daniela Karagi and former Hong Kong resident and banker Melanie Guenthardt opened the store in February. 'It was a long-time dream for both of us and we felt that there were so many great labels out there that we couldn't find in Zurich,' says Guenthardt, a Swiss-German.

Fashion finds: established brands such as Stella McCartney, Valentino and Judith Leiber sit alongside more cutting-edge names including Giambattista Valli, Devi Kroell and Bracher Emden. Standouts include exotic-skin bags from Malini Murjani and Pauric Sweeny and shoes from British accessories designer of the year Rupert Sanderson.

The vibe: a large black door leads customers into a boudoir-inspired interior with grey carpet, plush velvet and animal-hair furnishings with thick curtains framing the mirrors.

The crowd: fashion-forward women.
