Citizens' Radio activists partially pay off fine

Citizens' Radio activists yesterday paid part of a combined HK$360,000 fine imposed in a civil contempt of court case. The HK$60,000 payment came after the Court of First Instance in November last year found them in contempt of court for defying a 2008 injunction banning broadcasting for eight days. The activists raised HK$100,000 from the public in a march on January 1.
