Golden Hill in the red

LOSS-MAKING operations in its textile and restaurant businesses caused Golden Hill Land Development Co to post a loss of $3.23 million for the year to March against a profit of $5.15 million in the previous year.

Turnover rose to $391.56 million from $312 million, while the loss per share was 0.45 cent against earnings per share of 0.72 cent previously. Directors did not recommend a dividend for the year.
