With an almost insatiable demand for stainless steel in the energy, medical, construction, automotive, transport, food and beverage and other sectors, it would be virtually impossible for modern society to move forward without what is arguably the world’s most versatile material that defines the industrial age. Understanding the many applications of this alloy, Midway Metals has dominated the Australian market through its innovative machinery and a complete range of stainless steel products such as coils, sheets, plates, bars, pipes, tubes, fittings and valves.

“Our blanking line machine has a stretcher leveller, which is quite a one-of-a-kind way of flattening and levelling stainless steel. There’s no one else in the market here that does that,” says Paul Batty, managing director.

Established in 1982, the stainless steel innovator has positioned itself at the forefront of cutting-edge steel manufacturing by providing value-added services from procuring, stocking, identifying service needs to after-sales service support.
