China's Pan-Pearl River Delta has been grinding out growth for 16 years, and new projects are binding the region together with South East Asia, India, and Bangladesh.
Visiting Chinese state leader Zhang Dejiang is a long proponent of an economic zone linking nine provinces in Southern China with Hong Kong and Macau – The Pan-Pearl River Delta Region. Together with the mainland, and key neighboring countries, HK is designated as a connector for the One Belt One Road initiative.
