NOM (or Not Only Meatballs) in Elgin Street, Soho, has some new summer dishes to check out.

Executive chef Fabrizio Napolitano's latest creations are intended to help beat the heat, and include Spanish octopus with black chickpeas and spring vegetables dressed with bell pepper sauce (HK$188). There's also an interesting combination of Hokkaido scallops with pickled cauliflower, black pudding and broad bean puree (HK$178).

Another tempting dish is sustainable cod in a spicy seafood broth with baby octopus, clams and mussels (HK$348).

There are some new desserts to try, too. This one sounds intriguing – fennel and liquorice panna cotta with homemade granola with black currant sauce (HK$98). There's also tiramisu with chocolate sable and coffee caramel sauce (HK$98).
