Robbie Williams bound for Hong Kong - nine years late
About nine years after he cancelled his previous Hong Kong concert, local fans of Robbie Williams will finally get to see British singer-songwriter perform live when he appears at AsiaWorld-Expo on September 23.
The former member of boy band Take That disappointed his legions of – mostly female – Hong Kong fans when he cancelled the Asian dates of his previous tour in 2006, citing health problems.
The Robbie Williams Let Me Entertain You Tour 2015 Live kicked off in Madrid on March 25, and iwill cover Europe extensively throughout the summer before arriving in Hong Kong.
So far the September 23 show in Hong Kong is the only Asian date announced – although others are expected to be added in coming weeks – and it will mark Williams' first local appearance in almost 15 years.
Tickets, costing HK$880 and HK$1,480 (all standing), are now on sale through HK Ticketing.
