Anna Karenina
Eifman Ballet of St Petersburg is bringing a Russian flavour to Macau. A ballet interpretation of the novel by Leo Tolstoy tells the poignant story of Anna Karenina, an aristocrat, socialite and wife of a senior government official, who challenged the social and religious norms in 19th-century Russia.
Boris Eifman, founder of the company, demonstrates his creative power in bringing the story to life through contemporary choreography and Tchaikovsky’s music.
