Mega K-pop boy band BTS will again take to the stage at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

According to the band’s management company, Big Hit Entertainment, BTS will perform its latest single Boy With Luv, the lead track from the new album “Map of the Soul: Persona”, during the show in Las Vegas on May 1.

It will be the second time BTS have performed at the Billboard awards. Other musicians confirmed to be performing include Kelly Clarkson, Khalid, Sam Smith and Mariah Carey.

This year, BTS has been nominated in the top duo/group and top social artist categories. While it is the first time the group has been nominated for the top duo/group award, it won the award for top social artist in 2017 and 2018.

The new BTS performance at the awards show was announced during their appearance on US television show Saturday Night Live, during which BTS performed Boy With Luv, a collaboration with US singer Halsey. BTS were the first South Korean artists to appear on the show.

Meanwhile, the music video for Boy With Luv set a record for YouTube's most-streamed video in the first 24 hours of its release.
