What I'm listening to: I recently returned from Burning Man after a week of "camping" at Robot Heart, one of the best dance camps in Black Rock City, in Nevada. The line-up was phenomenal, so my play list is influenced by DJs such as Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Philipp Jung, Audiofly, Atish, Lee Burridge and 2Gweilos.

What I'm reading: I have a few books on the go … and the one that's getting most of my attention now is Venice: Pure City by Peter Ackroyd. I tend to read a lot of murder mystery, espionage and history books.

What I'm watching: I'm hooked on British TV show The Thick of It, a political satire. I love the main character, Malcolm Tucker (Scottish actor Peter Capaldi), who plays No 10 Downing Street's spin doctor.

What artists I'm following: most of the artists I follow are fashion designers such as Ricardo Tisci, creative director of Givenchy, and the late Alexander McQueen.

Where I'm surfing: when I'm having a bad day, I visit babewalker.com - it's very tongue in cheek and not to everyone's taste.
