I love trying new places. Once I find a place that I love it becomes a staple for me. I am a fairly adventurous and obsessed with spicy food.

Some of my favourite restaurants include Pang’s Kitchen (25 Yik Yam Street, Happy Valley, tel: 2838 5462). It’s my favourite neighbourhood restaurant and the food is so yummy. The crispy chicken is my favourite dish on the menu.

I could eat hotpot all the time, even in the middle of summer! The spicier the better. Hot Pot Land (3/F, Winning Centre, 46-48 Wyndham Street, Central, tel: 9363 8980) satisfies my spicy fix with their broth. I love how the meat is presented.

Maison Libanaise (10 Shelley Street, SoHo, tel: 2111 2284) is a favourite lunch spot as it’s just down from our studio. I’m a bit obsessed with their grilled cauliflower and hummus. It’s such a satisfying and healthy meal. I’m not a bit dessert person but they have an almond cake that is out of this world.

Chachawan (206 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan, tel: 2549 0020) is where I head when I need my Thai fix. The food never disappoints.

Grassroots Pantry (108 Hollywood Road, Central, tel: 2873 3353) is also good for lunch. The food is always delicious and satisfying. It’s amazing the flavours chef Peggy Chan creates with vegetables. Sometimes I have to reread what I am actually eating as it tastes just like the meat version.

I’m a California girl at heart and love my Mexican food. El Loco Gringo (Basement, 49 Bonham Road, Sai Ying Pun, tel: 2858 8833) and their tacos always feel like home. It’s a fun place to meet on the weekends. You feel like you have walked into another world.

Mott 32 (Basement, Standard Chartered Bank Building, 4-4A Des Voeux Road Central, Central, tel: 2885 8688) is one of my favourite restaurants in Hong Kong. I love the decor.

I usually request to sit in the back room with all of the brushes as it’s such a fun place. The Peking duck is also just amazing. It’s a statement dinner experience.

For a celebration or a splurge, Carbone (9/F, Lan Kwai Fong Tower, 33 Wyndham Street, Central, tel: 2593 2593) is always good. The music and atmosphere is upbeat and celebratory.

I feel like I will see the Rat Pack there. My favourite is the spicy vodka pasta and tri-colour salad. We hosted a large birthday party there a while ago and it was such a memorable evening.

For takeout, I love Mana! (92 Wellington Street, Central, tel: 2851 1611) for their soups and wraps. I go for Shanghai Lane (10 Min Fat Street, Happy Valley, tel: 2891 6629) if I’m in need of some comfort food, I can’t get enough of their dan dan noodles. They are the best as far as I’m concerned.
