Style confessions: Cheryl Leung, fashion stylist

The top stylist regularly travels the world to source clothes and accessories from the best collections for editorial and commercial fashion shoots. But her love for eye-catching pieces extends well beyond the set

POLAROIDS are good for behind-the-scenes and fittings. It really helps to fit the models first so you can see if the outfit works. It's quite a precious archive, compared to digital.
PRADA SKIRT with acetate panels. I don't have much time to shop so I often pick up pieces during sourcing trips in Paris, Shanghai, Beijing and New York.
SIDE TABLE I love this side table - a friend took me to a great flea market in Paris and I bought it there for €30 [HK$310].
LEATHER JACKET with gradient goat-fur accents made and designed by my friend, photographer Baldovino Barani.
EYEBROW PENCIL by Shu Uemura, mascara, my fragrance, and Chanel SPF 50 (especially needed in Hong Kong) are my essentials before I head out.
PRADA SHOES from the spring-summer '97 collection. These shoes have gone through a lot - I wore them when I started university and for my first job. One of the heels even broke off at an event.

Left from top: leather gloves from Paris; her collection of trinkets show Leung's latest taste ("I'm currently obsessed with the chic and simple combination of black and gold"); white shoes with geometric heel by Christian Dior and cockroach print silk pyjama pants by Lanvin to set the tone for an animalistic fashion shoot.

Right from top: her studded choker, a giveaway from Maje, is two-toned so can be worn different ways; custom Jasmin fragrance by La Labo, Chanel sunglasses from London and a vintage Prada watch are among her favourite things; she sports a Loewe laser-cut deer leather jacket for special occasions ("the cut-outs are amazing").
