COST For adults, weekday lunch is HK$278 and weekend brunch is HK$378; children and seniors cost less. WHO TO BRING Family and friends. TURN-ONS The Chinese noodles and dim sum station offers good dishes. We enjoyed the home-made xiao long bao and shrimp wonton noodle soup. Thexiao long bao goes nicely with the vinegar and ginger sauce. The dan dan noodles with peanut and preserved vegetable flavours are a great comfort food. For dessert, it offers red bean cake or osmanthus cake. We tried the osmanthus cake, which is more like a jelly cut into pieces with osmanthus inside. It’s refreshing, especially after spicy food. Despite the limited dim sum options, the quality is fresh and the flavours are excellent. TURN-OFFS Although the buffet covers a lot of cuisines, including an extensive seafood station, we just wished there were more Chinese dish options. DRINKS Pay an extra HK$45 for free-flowing soft drinks and chilled juices in the evenings; HK$85 for free-flowing soft drinks, chilled juices, beer and house wine. Chinese teas, cocktails and wines are available on request.
