Walking into the softly-lit Irish gastropub with its rustic dark wood bar tables and metallic elements and upbeat music, the ambience was warm and welcoming.
The gastropub offers traditional and contemporary Irish fare and we decided to try both. We ordered the American appetiser buffalo chicken wings (HK$145) served with celery sticks and blue cheese dip. The wings were sweet and spicy, and the tangy aftertaste was balanced by the creaminess of the blue cheese dressing.
We then tried the beef and Guinness pie (HK$228), a classic main and our favourite, served with soft creamy mashed potato. The pie was covered with a crispy and buttery puff pastry, a perfect choice for a cold winter’s night.
We ended with the rustic apple tart (HK$88) served with vanilla ice cream, which added a sweet touch.
The gastropub offers a range of draught and craft beers from local breweries like Young Master and Black Kite, as well as ciders, wines, cocktails and mocktails.
