Something new: fit for a prince

The now notorious photographs of a naked Prince Harry may have been taken in Las Vegas, but the British royal's favourite stomping ground is reportedly London nightspot Boujis. And if you've ever wondered what it's like to party like a prince, you won't have to travel to the British capital to find out - a branch of the club is opening in Hong Kong early next month.

The London Boujis is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and the members-only club - a favourite among socialites and celebrities - has been closed for renovations. The club's grand reopening will come just days before its Hong Kong cousin is launched, at 37 Pottinger Street, Central.

The annual membership fee of HK$7,500 will buy you access to parent company Ignite Group's venues and pop-up events around the world - that is if you manage to become a member. Applicants will need to be recommended by two existing members and all applications are subject to a review by committee.

The club's general manager, Sam Jeveons, previously with the Upper House boutique hotel in Admiralty, will be leading a seasoned team including music and entertainment head Miles Slater and bar curator Will de la Praudière, previously of Boujis in London.

While we don't know the exact date of the opening party, we do know Boujis London's popular resident DJ Klaus and bongo guru Ameet Jugnauth are being flown over to perform. To stay up to speed, keep an eye on www.boujis.com/boujis-hong-kong
